The previous two posts give the foundation for this one - a bit about a new program that I am doing with Barbara Marx Hubbard.
The realization that we have had is that humanity must make significant transformational changes quickly in order to be able to move into a new way of being before our way of living makes our planet unlivable. The insititutions that created the great technological boom and economic prosperity cannot take us in a different direction. So, as Barbara says, we are without a model - no one knows what to do next, as it has never been done before.
The answer is Conscious Evolution - the direction of the evolutionary process from a conscious level based upon the princples and practices of New Thought. We are already creating the means by which we can make the rapid change necessary. What is needed is the psychological shift, from EGO to ESSENCE -- from our limited, fear-based world view to an expanded and deepened acceptance of the intelligence of the cosmos.
As we awaken, we act cocreatively to develop and actualize sustainable technologies, cultural and governmental institutions. This cocreative idea transcends what has come before, and requires a radical shift away from business as usual.
The good news is that it does not take everyone to make this change. A small percentage of individuals, or a communion of souls, will be enough to achieve the necessary energy to lead the shift into being. Remember, the Renaissance was brought about by no more than 1,000 people.

The basis of Dr. Holmes' philosophy is that God or Spirit is an Infinite, Universal Intelligence containing all of creation within It. Human Beings, a part of Spirit’s Manifestation, are Intelligent. 4. Spirit Manifests according to Law or Principle, which is inviolable, impersonal, and automatic. 5. Humans use Thoughts, Feelings, and Beliefs to Activate the Law. 6. Human Intelligence is an Emergent Energy. By training our Thoughts and Feelings, we Actualize this Emergent Intelligence. The practices of New Thought include affirmative prayer (what Dr. Holmes called Spiritual Mind Treatment), meditation, contemplation, spiritual education, building spiritual community, and more. When applied to the principles listed above, these practices lead to a deep realization of the Self, a state of bliss, and a strong desire to serve. Combining New Thought principles and practices with Barbara Marx Hubbard's Conscious Evolution concepts (see previous messagge) can lead to a powerful expression of human potential just at the time that our planet and it's inhabitents seem to be calling out for transformation. We are looking for those who are called to the idea of conscious evolution, those souls who realize their nature and the nature of evolution in a very personal sense, to join us in bringing this reality to others.
